Tako in Japanese means parrot, a bird that in Japanese culture can be associated with good omens. The Tako Sushi Vilamoura, in the Marina, is a franchise of the original project which began some 20 years in the US under the concept "Fresh, Fun & Funky". The menu features many Japanese specialties, as expected. The decor of the room is modern with front walls of glass that open in warm weather.
