Palheiro is a fantastic renovated cottage with 2 sleeping areas and part of the Quinta das Alagoas just outside Praia da Luz. Palheiro means the place where straw used to be stored in, it has since been renovated with two floors, on the top you have a bedroom with a DOUBLE BED. On the ground floor you have a small bed, bathroom with shower and a small living room with sitting for meals and a nice kitchenet so you can prepare your own meals if you wish. This property is part of the Quinta das Alagoas, located between Burgau and Praia da Luz, it is a XIV century fortified farm, it has since been fully renovate and divided into several private houses, all of them inside a working organic farm that you can visit at your leisure. You can visit the farm and vegetable garden as well as make use of a lot of the shared utilities of the farm, such as a large communal room with cable TV, large outside seating and dinning areas, the BBQ and a shared Washing Machine. This location is ideal if you want the tranquility of the Algarve countryside but still proximity to the best beaches and towns on western Algarve, since Burgau, Praia da Luz and Lagos are all just minutes away by car.
